About NCAS Bibliographies                                                

                           
These NCAS-compiled bibliographies are intended to augment, not duplicate such more comprehensive works as the frequently updated Skeptic's Dictionary (© 1994 through current by Robert T. Carroll). Any overlap of citations here with any other major bibliographies is inadvertent or just for your reading convenience.  We are only beginning this compilation. Please check back often for new items. (See Syndicated Content, below.)

 NCAS provides these bibliographic items for reference without endorsement.

The NCAS Bibliographies pages are currently being revised to simplify use for you and to facilitate more timely posting of new items. The new version relies more directly on the increasingly powerful functions being developed at Blinklist.com where NCAS Bibliography items are stored and indexed. See BETA
QUICK START
The best introduction may be to just go to the NCAS Bibliographies page, click on the link All Items by Topic & Category -- and roam at will through the NCAS bibliographic topics and items on Blinklist.com. 

ALL TOPICS & CATEGORIES MENU
On the left side of the All Items by Topic & Category page you will see "Tags" for all topics currently indexed by NCAS, in alphabetical order, as well as several  category Tags that start with a tilde character " ~ ".  The following example does not list all topics.

SELECTING TOPICS OR CATEGORIES
On the All Items by Topic & Category page click any tag to be taken to a new page (on BlinkList.com) showing all the items posted by NCAS about that topic (or in that ~category). The Most Recent tab should be active -- if not, click it. The most recently posted items are listed first. Some items may be emphasized with a yellow star().

BIBLIOGRAPHIC ITEM FORMAT
Each bibliographic item has four main parts:

On the left of the page is an index of all other topic or category Tags related to your topic. [This is currently not working consistently]

Clicking a "Related Tag" will display on the right only items that are tagged with the main topic and the related topic or category that you clicked, in the order posted.
For example, clicking ~Noteworthy will display only "Noteworthy" items on "Climate Change".

At this time you can not return directly to the All Items by Topic & Category page.  For convenience, you may want to bookmark All Items by Topic & Category. We do not recommend clicking "ncas" at the top left of the BlinkList.com pages, unless you wish to go spelunking in the lower depths of the NCAS area on Blinklist.com. You are welcome to so, but you will probably find the menu at All Items by Topic & Category much more useful.

SYNDICATED CONTENT
The syndicated content icon ( An example Syndicated Content icon (with no link)) on the NCAS Bibliographies page lets you create live bookmarks or feeds that will automatically display in your browser (or feed reader) all new bibliographic items. On Blinklist.com, there is a syndicated content icon at the bottom of each list of items produced by the combination of topics or categories you selected. (How to use Syndicated Content) 

BETA:
This NCAS Bibliography section is still under development, as continues its Beta development to improve its social bookmarking capabilities. We hope you find the NCAS Bibliography nonetheless a useful information resource.

What will not change:
The web link (URL) for each bibliographic item will not change unless the location of that item changes on the web. So, your personal bookmarks on your own computer for each item will not change, unless that page is moved or removed by the author.
